ESSAY:
Write a brief essay on your interests related to biogeochemistry. Do you
have any specific research interests,
e.g., fish biology, environmental
science, environmental policy? How will a research internship contribute to
your
career goals? Do you have previous research experience? (Note that this
is not a requirement for admission to
our program.) Your essay will help us
to evaluate your potential for success in our program. The essay is a very
important part of the
process of linking
potential interns with the right faculty mentor. Prior to writing the essay
you
may want to visit the faculty mentor web page to learn more about the
research our faculty mentors are doing.
NOTE: If you’re interested in pursuing a professional degree (MD, Law, etc.)
this program is not ideally suited
to your interests. Contact the Director for other programs better suited to
your research interests.
