Nanotoxicology (Physiology,
Neurobiology, Analytical Chemistry, Environmental Toxicology)
Researchers in this team are investigating the health
effects of
nanoparticles in animals and the environment.
If you work on this project you
will learn to use
confocal and
fluorescence microscopy, how to measure heavy
metals in tissue and water samples using world class analytical
instruments like inductively
coupled plasma mass spectroscopy,
HPLC,
and animal exposure and dissection techniques.
