The rich geology of Arkansas will provide the perfect backdrop for studies of geology
Studies will include earth’s formation through Archaeological time and the Green Revolution
Field trips will accompany hands-on learning and
cohort-based research.
Field trips will include the Wittsberg
Research Site, headwater to mouth float trips of regional river systems, Ouachita
Mountains, Blanchard Springs Caverns, Sand blows of the Mississippi Delta
region.
The ARISE Program will be centered at the
ASU Jonesboro Main Campus. Our
Northeast Arkansas community is home to diverse industries including
agriculture, food processing, manufacturing, service and retail.
Jonesboro is a
progressive community supporting and interacting with the University through
its public services and interest groups.
